With a sweeping view of downtown Washington, D.C., the home of Frederick Douglas documents the life and times of the abolitionist who became internationally renowned for his eloquence in the cause of liberty. The home (Cedar Hill) has been restored to the period (1877-1895) when Douglass resided there. Guided tours and educational events are available.
