In a state nearly surrounded by Great Lakes, picking a favorite waterfront destination might be hard. But few who have been to this Lake Superior shoreline would argue that it ranks high on the list. Pristine beaches. Enormous sand dunes. Waterfalls and 100 miles of trails. All this is in addition to the namesake rocks — 15 miles of multicolored sandstone cliffs that rise to a height of 200 feet above the lake.
