PARK OVERVIEW

Tallgrass Prairie once covered 140 million acres of North America. Today less than 4% remains, mostly in the Kansas Flint Hills. Step back in time and hike the six trails through the preserve. Visitors can also bring a rod and try your luck at one of the three catch-and-release ponds, take a tour of the historic 1881 ranch house and see bison up close and personal.
