Fort Knox Bullion Depository
Chief Lee Booth currently serves as the field chief of police at the United States Bullion Depository at Fort Knox, Kentucky. He began his career with the Depository in 1998 and has formerly served as a police officer, sergeant, detective, lieutenant, and inspector. As the field chief, he serves as the senior Treasury and United States Mint official at the facility.
Prior to his career with the Department of Treasury, Chief Booth enjoyed a military career, retiring from the U.S. Army in June 1998. Chief Booth holds a master’s degree in business administration from North Central University; Bachelor of Science degree in administration of law from Roger Williams University; and an Executive Certificate in leadership and management from the University of Notre Dame. He is a Dean’s Scholar of the 113th Administrative Officers Course of the Southern Police Institute and a Certified Master Anti-Terrorism Specialist (CMAS).
